Another very nice work composed by the hard rock brazilian band Dr. Sin. The band's eighth Dr Sin's album comes with sixteen very good songs containing many different feelings and themes. The album begins with “Drowning In Sin”, a heavy song with social critic. Then comes another punch in our ears: “Nomad”. The beautiful and melancholic ballad “Empty World” is the third song and brings about 2.5 minutes for recovering the breath for the next incoming tracks, “Freedom” and “Behind Enemy Lies”. Theses songs are very interesting songs too, containing the whole hard rock true essence: slashing guitar riffs, rebel lyrics and social critic (once again!). It's a couple smashing hit. The sixth track, “Taj Mahal”, with its very peculiar eastern sound, is probably a kind of prelude for “Celebration Song”, a tribute for the Led Zeppelin. This song was composed with many musical elements that refers the british band and to the 70's. Another detail is that this song has in its lyrics verses build of many names of Led's songs. Very nice and creative! This very nice tribute ends with the statement "I wanna thank you!". It's just fantastic. “Hail Ceasar” and “Signs” bring us back to the twentieth first century with fast and hard riffs. “C'Est La Vie” is a pretty and interesting ballad. Then comes “Dream Zone”, within its utopian world and a little bit of progressive sound. “Life Is Crazy” and “Full Throttle” are the last heavy songs in this album. “Wake Up Call” is a call for an awakening to the life according to the essence of the carpe diem principles. “Think It Over” is the hard rock love ballad of this album. No doubts about it. I must say: it's a pretty nice ballad with the true Dr. Sin's signature. “Welcome To The Show” is a literal invitation for enjoying the rock 'n roll alive!
This album deserves its own name: Bravo!!!!
