Artist: PRIVATE LINE
Album: "Evil Knievel Factory"
Time/tracks: (40':23")/11 tracks
Dynamo Records
These Finns from the alternative band Private Line reach their eighth album with strength. With their rebel attitude described in the lyrics and in their look they are about to reach their target of making people just have fun with their hard rock songs.
This album is filled of nice hits. There are ballads, like “Sound Advice”, and also heavy songs with a very peculiar sonority that lets the band's personality available for appreciation, like “Prozac Nation” for example. The lyrics go right to the point. They are very objective. The guitars are too hard. Sometimes the drums sound like a motor. There are also many electronic effects you may find just like in the song “Uniform”.
It's purest 21st century hard rock, full of energy and personality. It's a new formula that translates the feeling and what’s inside the head of the new generation of rockers. Despite the emo look, this band is not emo!
This album shows the bands power. This is a so nice album that you will not want to push the STOP button before it ends. For me this album was a great surprise. Private rules!
